!! Important Phishing Scam Alert !! As technology evolves, so do the methods cybercriminals use to try and steal your information. A new threat that is becoming more popular with cybercriminals is called "SMSishing". SMSishing occurs when you receive an SMS message on your phone that is purportedly sent from a reputable source, such as your bank, asking for personal details. The message can have you call a number listed in the SMS message or clicking on a link for smartphones.

Typically the cybercriminals will try to get you to hand over your card details including your PIN. With the information the cybercriminals obtain, they will then try to either make a fraudulent card and or make online transactions.

To avoid falling victim to a SMSishing scam know that Jonah Bank of Wyoming WILL NEVER Send you a request to call via SMS and WILL NEVER ASK for your PIN or card number over the phone.
